Reveal tiles by clicking / tapping them. Numbers indicate how many traps are hidden in the adjacent 8 squares. Avoid stepping on traps—each one costs 1 life point. Use Throw Cow to remotely reveal a tile safely. Use Lightbulb to illuminate a 3×3 zone, showing nearby traps and treasures. Every 5 movement steps, the entire ruin rotates 90°, shifting orientation and adding difficulty. Collect treasures to trade for new detection tools. Gather all treasures to win; lose all life points and the exploration fails.
